Qatar Steel Company FZE (QSC FZE) was established on August 18, 2003, in Dubai, to meet the increasing demand for high-quality steel wire-rod products in Gulf Cooperation Council and international markets. Situated in the prestigious Jebel Ali Free Zone, the ISO 9001:2000-certified company manufactures Wire Rods, Re Bars in coils, Deformed Bars, Plain Round and Square Bars to the highest quality.   QSC FZE is a subsidiary of Qatar Steel Company.   QSC FZE operates two main facilities at its about 60,000 sq m Jebel Ali site: a Wire Rod Mill with an annual installed capacity of 240,000 metric tonnes (MT), and a New Bar Mill, with a 300,000 MT capacity being set up.Demand for steel in the UAE is bullish, with QSC FZE anticipating a firm market for the next decade.   Quality is crucial to the company’s management processes, staff and procedures management and customer service.
